Let the festivities begin… Our streets will be glittering with lights all along the Riverwalk and there are plenty of joyful treats in store for all the family to enjoy. Book your seats for tables of festive feasts at one of our fabulous selection of restaurants & bars and tuck in. Or relax in comfort with popcorn, a few delicious snacks and watch a Christmas movie. There’s lots of wonderful events going on in the run up to Christmas, so come along and don’t miss the star spangled things we’ve lined up for you all.

*SANTA ARRIVES WITH HIS CHEEKY ELF
Come and meet Santa on his treasured grand throne, with his cheeky Elf in helper. They’re coming all the way by sleigh from the North Pole to be with us. Join us on the festive red carpet at the Framwellgate entrance of the Riverwalk. It’s a magical Christmas setting, piled high with Santa’s presents around a sparkling Christmas tree.

*FESTIVE FACES & STREET PERFORMERS!
See the kids faces light up for Christmas with our festive face painting. This is a colourful day filled with fun and sparkling artistry that’s bound to put a smile on everyone’s face…mums & dads too!
Our terraces will also be alive with a select band of street performers who will entertain you and fill the air with music.

As their habitat erodes and the Arctic ice disappears, our snowy white friendly bears are making a very special appearance to plead for change: a reduction in carbon emissions, a switch to cleaner fuels and more sustainable economic practices.
Come and meet mummy polar bear as she moves & explores our Riverwonderland to find a new home for her beautiful cubs.
Have your picture taken with them it’s a once in a lifetime opportunity.

AWESOME BALLOONY FUN!
Join us for a spectacular display of balloon artistry. You’ll be amazed as incredible creations take shape right in front of you. This is a wizard of weird and wonderfully colourful inventions all made from biodegradable balloons and a show not to be missed.

Come and meet Blaze the Reindeer and Jingles the Elf as they walkabout the Riverwonderland. They’ll take everyone’s Christmas pressy wish list all the way to the North Pole and deliver them all to Santa in time for the big day!
