summer garden 1st – 31st august

We’ve got lots of entertainment planned for every weekend throughout August. Come and sip summer cocktails on our lawn, grab a bite to eat on our terraces and take it all in. There’s something for everyone to enjoy and plenty to see.

Our buskers will be performing live music to liven up every balmy Friday summer evening. We have some real talent and great performers to showcase; Lily Cooke is a young new upcoming musician with a strong voice and lively acoustic guitar set. Kenny Craig’s high energy rhythmic performances and powerful voice have made him a regular and popular attraction at The Riverwalk. Danielle Keys is an acoustic solo singer who has performed at many notable iconic events across the North East and Durham. Her versatility in playing allows her to cover many notable classics across the decades. Jamie Solar is a superb emerging young talent who plays a range of upbeat songs, so come and give your ears a treat and see how good he is. What a brilliant line up of Friday evening music we have for our Summer Garden event!

Come and join in with the ring masters and learn the skills of the circus, it’s an exciting colourful show and there are two dates, so don’t miss it. For a more relaxing time join our yoga event and learn to really unwind. For the green fingered and more artsy amongst us, we’ve also got garden craft and summer craft events lined up. Then to put colour into every Sunday, we’ve got face painters ready to put a smile on everyone’s face.
